Shaasana = Stone inscriptions of Kannada language.
This particular inscription dates back to 12th century. More than 800 years old. Taken at Nittur, approximately 100 KMs from Bangalore.

What beautiful writing! I love the curves. Can they still be read today? I love the symmetry of this composition.

You could have accentuated the dark so that the inscription would have looked better. Good shot though

Nice work! Love the detail and the script - wish I could read it - used to love to read the inscriptions in all the old Abbey's and Monuments in England when I lived there - nothing so old here in Canada.
