The Cord

Posted by Prashanth M (Bangalore, India) on 7 November 2006 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

Tried with raw exposures and some playing with PS CS2.

Tips are welcome on how to play/work with PS CS2. Like what are the parameters that can be modified to enhance the photo quality, etc.

If you were a BIG BIG name in the art industry, this picture would have sold in million dollars, without people like me never understanding why people buy such stuff.

Beautiful shadow beside the cord. Like Daniel said, the simplicity is often better!

This is great, I like the texture of the wall in the background. For this kind of image I think playing around with the unsharp-mask would work pretty well. convert the image mode to lab-color first and work it on the lightness channel.

I agree with Shuva - looks very artistic and would probably sell for a lot of money if you were already famous. If you become famous this will surely be labeled your "early years" and it will still sell well :P
Cool shot regardless. I like the toning
